2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Boxtainer GmbH, Waidmannstraße 17, 60596 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, represented by its Managing Director Dr. Tim Kowalke, email: info@boxtainer.de. No data protection officer has been appointed as there is no legal obligation to do so.

4. Contact Form, Reservation Form and Email

If you send us a request via the contact form or the reservation (pre-order) form, we process the data you enter: name, email address, subject and message, or first and last name, email address, optional phone number and notes, and the configuration you selected. The purpose is to handle your request or reservation and to get in touch with you. The data is not stored on the website but forwarded to us directly by email.

To send these emails we use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as a processor; emails are sent via servers in the EU (Ireland). Resend processes the form content solely to deliver it to us; a data processing agreement is in place. Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. a reservation), and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling requests effectively). The same applies if you contact us directly by email.

We delete your request once it has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. under commercial and tax law, six or ten years for business correspondence). The email delivery service stores the emails only for a limited period for delivery and logging purposes. We do not send you an automatic reply and do not use your data for advertising.

6. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Simply contact the controller named above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). This website does not use cookies or comparable technologies (e.g. local storage, tracking pixels or fingerprinting) and does not store any information on your device. This is why we need neither a cookie banner nor consent under Section 25 TDDDG. Should this change in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent beforehand where required.

Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot accept any liability for this third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.

The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. No unlawful content was identifiable at that time.
